  • Tuesday Sept 29, Kahului  Community Center at 5:30 : Potluck, Speakers, Candidates , Music

  • Thursday October  1 – Monday October 4, Maui County Fair. Parade on Monday at 4:30. We need volunteers to hand out cards at the 3 fair entrances.

  • -5:30 pm out in front of Queen Kaahumanu Center , 275 W. Ka’ahumanu Ave, Kahului. Bring your signs with the theme: Protect Voting Rights! Everyone must vote! Vote Progressive! Vote for people power! 1.      Thursday October  1 – Monday October 4, Maui County Fair. Parade Thursday at 4:30. We need volunteers to hand out Kelly King  cards at the 3 fair entrances . Kelly King will be in the parade with Sierra Club

  • 2.      Saturday, Oct 3, Festivals of Aloha, Lanai Island  at  Ho‘olaule‘a at Four Seasons Resort  from 10am-5pm. Come celebrate the island’s unique heritage through Hawaiian music, hula, cultural demonstrations, local crafts and island hospitality. Kelly King and Michelle are going . Would anyone else like to attend?

  • 3.      Saturday, Oct 10 at 7 am Upcountry Farmers Market 55 Kiopaa St Makawao - Kelly King will have a table inside the Upcountry Farmers Market . Lets pass out Kelly King cards starting at 8 am outside on the front sidewalk. (can’t distribute cards inside)

  • 4.      Saturday October 10  Sierra Club 50 yr Anniversary, Huelo (location TBA)

  • 5.      Wednesday, October 14 , 5:30 pm - Lahaina Strong Candidate Forum at Hanakao'o Beach. Our candidate forums are like no other and are highly anticipated.  The Lahaina community is ready and   excited to hear directly from you all, learn more about your visions for Maui County, and have meaningful conversations about the issues that matter most to our community. For those who haven't responded yet we ask that you RSVP here through our link: https://bit.ly/lsforumcandidatersvp

  • 6.    Saturday, October 17   “Every Vote Counts” Maui Indivisible No Dictators Day 4 from 4 Save Democracy!

 

Weekly Events for card distribution, text Ann Pitcaithley if you need cards. 808-250-2280  We are allowed to distribute cards on public sidewalks entering events but not on the event grounds.

  1. Upcountry Farmer's Market , 55 Kiopaa St, Makawao  Saturdays, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM  Sign up to be involved in voter registration booth. Please volunteer to get more Maui Voters.

  2. South Maui Farmers Market, Kihei,  61 S. Kihei Rd,  Monday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

  3. South Maui Gardens Market, Kihei,  35 Auhana Rd,  Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  4. West Maui Napili Farmers Market, 4900 HI-30, Lahaina Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  5. East Maui Hāna Farmers Market (Hāna Town Center): Fridays, 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Kelly King Sign Waving Schedule:

Friday Oct 2 from 7 – 8:30am: Hana Hwy Paia bound makai (oceanside) side before Haleakala Hwy turnoff. Lots of space to park alongside highway

Friday Oct 9 from 4 – 5:30pm: Honoapiilani Hwy and North Kihei Rd junction makai side. Park at the commuter lot on North Kihei road.

Wed Oct 14 from 4 – 5:30pm: in front of Lahaina Cannery Mall makai side of 1221 Honoapiʻilani Highway. Park in the mall parking lot.

Sat Oct 17 from 4 – 6pm: Maui Indivisible “Make Every Vote Count” rally in front of old Sears building at Queen Kaahumanu Ave, 275 W Kaahumanu Ave in Kahului - Kelly King sign wave will be just further down Kaahumanu Ave, just past Kane St, Kahului bound direction on the sidewalk. Park at Queen Kaahumanu Center parking lot and use the crosswalk . 

Sat Oct 24 from 11:30 – 1pm:  Festivals of Aloha Oskie Rice Arena, Makawao, Rodeo event at 521 Olinda Rd, Makawao. Park and sign wave on Olinda Road.

 

Kelly King Card Distribution:

Oct 1 Maui County Fair Parade 4:30 pm: Starts at UH Maui College, travels along Kaʻahumanu Avenue, and proceeds to Kanaloa Avenue. Can Park at Queen Kaahumanu Center. 

Maui County Fair: Pass out cards on sidewalk in front of ticket booths:

Thursday, Oct. 1 - 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 2 - 5:00 p.m. – 12 midnight
Saturday, Oct. 3 - 10:00 a.m. – 12 midnight
Sunday, Oct. 4 - 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Oct 10 from 8am - 9:30am: Maui Upcountry Farmers Market on sidewalk out in front.  Kelly King will have a table inside the farmers market.

Sat Oct 17 from 4 – 6pm: Maui Indivisible “Make Every Vote Count” rally in front of old Sears building at Queen Kaahumanu Ave, 275 W Kaahumanu Ave. SIGN WAVE is priority, but we will also need some people to mingle in the crowds to hand out cards.
